Scents that Attract Women

Saturday, September 29th, 2007

By Marcus Peterson Scent products trigger physical attraction by spreading pleasing fragrances. These are mood enhancers on relaxing and pleasurable evenings you spend with your lover. However, the odor of the natural sweat of a man is said to be highly attractive to women. Women are sensitive to male pheromones (scented sex hormones) during the period of ovulation. Among body pheromones, androstenol is the body scent produced by fresh male sweat, and it is often attractive to women. Even though androstenol is by itself capable of attracting women, men are eager to use pheromone-based scents to draw women to them. An experiment carried out to prove this attractive power of male pheromones has shown that women frequently choose a pheromone-sprayed chair in a dentist’s waiting room. Scents that attract women include concentrated sprays with ingredients such as flower essences, roots, wild grasses, exotic barks, rare wine resins, and essential oils. These not only attract the opposite sex, but also increase their sexual desires. Aphrodisiac scents such as cinnamon, vanilla body spray, and musk have intense stimulating effects and boost sexual arousal in women immediately. Natural aphrodisiac, a new formula for men to attract women, is manufactured on the basis of the isolation and synthesis of unique pheromone compounds, which are mixed with essential oils to produce a scent. The scents are normally applied to the neck or forearm or on the clothes. You can wear these scents anytime. Some others are usually worn behind the ears or on the wrist. For the best results, apply the scents directly to the skin instead of the clothing. Today, around forty unique scents are available that come in bottles with spray tops. One bottle may last up to two months. Many dealers offer discount and free shipping options. Playing and Collecting Board Games

Thursday, September 27th, 2007

By Bill Dove I guess my interest in board games started during the World Cup draw in 1965. I had gone to stay with one of my Cousins back home in the east end of London, my parents having moved to Surrey 4 years before. It was early January and we were nearing the end of the school holidays. Id seen West Ham play once over the holiday period and all the presents had been stacked away in cupboards, most of which were never to see the light of day again. Boredom set in so we decided to tackle Monopoly (a Christmas present), we were twelve years old then. I guess twelve year olds nowadays have more alternatives for passing away winter afternoons during school holidays. Anyway we played loads of games of Monopoly; we were both competitive but good losers (comes with being a West Ham supporter). On my return home to Surrey I rushed out and bought a copy of Monopoly with vouchers I got for Christmas plus Spy Ring and Formula One. Games were not that popular in those days, apart from the annual airing at Christmas, I loved them dearly but nobody else was interested in my group of friends. Some years later I bought a copy of Diplomacy and soon entered the postal gaming hobby; this must have been in about 1973/4. The amateur magazines (zines) were excellent; although postal gaming is long winded it was sometimes the only way to experience the less well known games particularly if you lived in an area where there was a lack of opponents. In 1975 I developed a game called Cricketboss, this was a postal Cricket Management game very loosely based on Soccerboss (Commercial game) that was running by post at that time. The game ran for three seasons in a zine called Chimera and also spawned a number of versions of the game across the national postal gaming hobby (long after I finished running it). Even now its gets the occasional mention in dispatches some 25 years after its design. In 1978 I met a number of like-minded people and we all met regularly to play board games. At the same time I infiltrated a Dungeons & Dragons Club (not a great fan Im afraid) got myself elected secretary and then started to introduce fantasy board games into the meetings, soon I had them playing Sorcerers Cave, Mystic Wood etc. When I eventually left the group they played little D&D but a lot of board games. During the 80s the games collection grew, well past the 500 by 1988 when we moved to Hampshire. By the time we got to Cornwall in 1991 the collection exceeded 1,000. The house we purchased had to have enough room to store them all. 1980 - 1995 saw a number to the major games conventions. I remember the good old days at the Royal Horticultural Halls in London, when Games Day meant more than just D&D and painted figures. I remember meeting Major Pat Reid promoting Colditz, Alan Parr inventor of United and later Fireside Football, Andrew Neil the Inventor of Kingmaker and Maureen Hiron of Quadwrangle and Continuo fame. I attended Midcon, Manorcon and Baycon; organised by the postal gaming hobby, all still going strong and always well worth a visit. I continue to collect games, mostly but not exclusively German and play games and I play with a small group of gamers in Truro. We meet semi regularly but hopefully more regularly in the future to play board games. Personally its a great opportunity to blow the dust off many games previously retired to my loft. Hopefully we will inspire more people in Cornwall to sample the unique experience of playing competitive board games which stretch the mind and imagination far beyond my and most other peoples early experiences of Monopoly, Cluedo and Scrabble. I also run The Games Player Ltd selling new games through my web site http://www.thegamesplayer.co.uk/ Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Bill_Dove http://EzineArticles.com/?Playing-and-Collecting-Board-Games&id=518284 best generic levitra online levitra no prescription levitra online prescription best generic levitra online

The School Dark Sides

Wednesday, September 26th, 2007

By Sharon White It’s been often said that school is for students. However, a recent survey reveals that many students dislike or even hate school. What are the reasons for this aversion? Are students just lazy, undisciplined or unfair? The answer to this question seems to be more complicated. Students usually identify school with teachers. Many of them complain that teachers are unjust, strict, subjective, intolerant, hypocritical or malicious. They often ridicule students or denigrate them. They are also accused of exerting a strong mental pressure on students and suppressing their individuality. A student should only listen, take notes and learn. Many young people feel that they should not be treated as addle heads but as equals who have a right to hold and express their own opinions. However, not only teachers are to blame. Most students claim that school is no longer a safe and nice place and they all agree that violence is probably the greatest problem school has to cope with these days. Some young people think that the only way to improve their status at school is through aggression. They believe that violence encourages others to respect them as a force to be reckoned with. Therefore many schools, especially the technical ones, are under the control of gangs which intimidate and terrorize the powerless students. The victims of aggression are often the younger or weaker students on whom the older fellows often wreak their rage. The ways of harassing the victims range from threatening behaviour to inflicting actual body harm on them. The cases of beating up, thrashing with a hose or belt, or even beguiling the intimidated students out of their money are not uncommon. The article was produced by the writer of masterpapers.com. Resurgence of the Time Sheet: Why You Should Write Down Your Workday Activities

Tuesday, September 25th, 2007

By Julie MacLean One day I walked into my bosss office and said, I think all staff should do a time sheet, including you, from now on. I definitely surprised her but the results of thisrequest certainly got the attention of all of our staff. I work for an email marketing software and services firm. I am currently wearing my third hat within this firm. We have been under a massive spring cleaning for about six months. We have new staff, new websites and new tasks. I work in the Marketing/Send Service departments where I have specific tasks and responsibilities but often I take onvarious new tasks. I began to wonder if my productivity was affected by the quantity and variety of tasks I was working on within a single workday. This uncertainty, leadto my request of implementing the use of time sheets to myboss. In past careers, I had experienced the use of time sheets as well as time clocks and I was quick to remember how a sense of efficiency as well as commitment went with this practice. I printed off a weekly calendar with time slots. Each timeI switched between my tasks I documented it. Often I wasmultitasking deleting spam and updating paper work atsame time. I was amazed how my little squares for each hour block could not hold my description of tasks being completed. Often lunches were consumed while updating a mailing list or proofreading new copy for our new website. In my job, I am expected to stay on top of market trends and ideas but in my Inbox I have a lonely folder of 180 unread newsletters and articles. Why? Our company found the answers in our timesheet and you will too. After tracking our actions for three weeks within our company, we were beginning to see how unacknowledged work time, with simple documentation of the five minutes hereand ten minutes there (in an eight-hour work day you onlyhave 48 instances to have 10 mins) can add up and was affecting productivity as well as our bottom line. Below are the results we found from keeping time sheets. 1) We work too much overtime. 2) Committed staff took on various tasks to get the job done but an individuals main job was not always the largestpercentage of their daily activity. The sub-tasks assignedconsumed more than 40% of workday time on average. 3) Customer oriented activities are heavy time consumers in a workday. Good companies survive on their personal contact and relationships with customers but we were not accountingfor the time it took to conduct basic courtesy emails and phone calls. 4) Sometimes when an issue occurs within the workplace itrequires the abilities of other staff, which then was taking away from their current assigned tasks. 5) Holidays and days off for a staff member lead to responsibilities being spread amongst other staff. A common occurrence thoughis to put in overtime before time off and then once returnedin order to make up for time away from the office to returnto your regular pace. This activity has allowed us to recommend as well as implement some changes within our company, some included:Undertaking a systemized process of reviewing individual tasksand actually reassigned some responsibilities to different staff members. We also recognized that we needed to review the fee structure in certain scenarios to warrant the specialized attention we canprovide to our customers. All employees and boss/owner would benefit from doing a timesheet of tasks, not only to learn more about how you spend your time at work but learn to be accountable to yourself forthe variety of tasks and activities that you do in a day. Drama Over Atkins Weight Loss Plan

Sunday, September 23rd, 2007

By Mark Kimathi It all started when a doctor sparked on a topic within earshot of an ardent low-carb blogger. The doctor, an associate professor, Dr David Katz of Yale University was reported by Forbes to have claimed that the Atkins diet had resulted to the hospitalization of one of his patients. The blogger and also purveyor of low-carb diets Jimmy Moore of Livin La Vida Low-Carb Blog felt his feathers ruffled by this claim. Moore, author of the weight loss book with a similar title to his blog, and the subtitle ‘My Journey from Flabby Fat to Sensationally Skinny in One Year’ claims to be living proof that low-carbs work. He says he has lost over 180 pound on a low-card diet in a year. In his blog on he posted an article titled ‘Health experts gang up on Atkins Diet’ where he criticized, first the media for a seemingly regular “orchestrated negative splash against low-carb diets”. The article in contention was one appearing in Forbes titled “Atkins diet not safe for everyone” where Dr. Katz was reported to have had a patient that developed serious ketoacidosis which he linked to the Atkins diet the unnamed patient was on. Secondly, Moore turned on the doctors cited in the article starting with Kartz. Moore went to the extent of calling the co-authored diet book by Dr Katz Flavor Point Diet “one of the biggest fad diet books you’ll ever read”. Disdainfully, but seemingly aggrieved, the good doctor responded to the posting by email. Moore went on to dissect the email in his blog. Dr. David L. Katz is a clinical professor, division of Health Policy and Administration, Epidemiology and Public Health of Yale University. Even Moore, though sarcastically, thinks of him as a nutritional genius with his string of titles. Katz asserted that Moore has no academic ground to differ with him. And on the doctor’s bashing of the Atkins diet, Katz says he wasn’t starting on bashing the diet rather he’s “been beating up on Atkins for years, never wavered never will”. He further criticized the diet as lacking in fundamentals of healthful eating and sustainable weight loss. Moore on the other hand defended it on grounds that he’s 180 pounds lighter. Atkins diet is a low-carb ketogenic diet designed for weight loss using significant changes in your dietary macro-nutrients. It recommends you eat fat and more proteins to replace the highly restricted carbohydrates. This is unconventional as carbohydrates are considered to be the primary source of calories for the body. Often this drastic change of dietary requirement is viewed with great suspicion. But the underlying question and continued basis of feuds such as this is how do we explain outstanding results by people like Jimmy Moore? Lyn Steffan of the University of Minnesota school of Public Health was reported in the contentious Forbes article as saying that low-carb diets are not diets for life. She went on to recommend a healthy diet that results to weight loss and that can be used for life. But the question still remains unanswered. How do Moore and others who swear by low-carbs mange to shed off pound of body fat, improve their cholesterol and claim to be healthy. Steffan seems to think it’s not sustainable long-term. Then one wonders what she thinks of the massai diet that is low-carb, high fat and high protein like Atkins. Yet the East African massai, who are extremely lean, have lived with the diet for centuries. So would this comparison vindicate Atkins diet? It is best to view weight loss in the environment in which it occurs. A particular lifestyle is associated with obesity. Naturally, to deal conclusively with the menace one has to deal with the environment in which it occurs. Permanent weight loss is possible; it is also possible that it can be achieved relatively fast, safely as well as healthy. But this requires a holistic and long-term approach. Such a weight loss plan should deal with most of the reasons that result to weight gain. Mark Kimathi writes about Weight Loss at Health-eMark.com and related topics like weight loss surgery. 6 Proven Steps on How to Get That Girl Now

Friday, September 21st, 2007

By Scott Patterson Recently a reader sent me a simple question that asked for advice on “how to get that girl now”. While I teach a variety of ways to meet and attract women, it’s often hard to tell a guy what to do in every particular situation. However there are a few proven methods that can teach you how to get that girl now which can be applied to virtually any situation. Step 1- Read her body language Many guys fail with women because they don’t take the time to read their body language before initiating a conversation. Just by taking to a few minutes to observe a woman, you can tell if she’s open to being approached and will interested in a conversation. One trick is to make eye contact with her and then smile. If she smiles back, then this is a big indicator that she wants you to come over and talk to her. Step 2- Know how to approach her Your first step to getting a girl to like you is to know how to approach her. While most guys use pick up lines, your objective is to use an opener, which will make her interested in you. Some ways to use an opener can include asking a question, requesting an opinion, or giving a genuine compliment. In order to increase your chances of success with this woman, you have to make her interested in you. So make your opener is a good one! Step 3- Talk about fun topics When talking to a woman, it’s important to discuss things which are interesting AND engaging. Don’t ask standard questions like where she works or where she grew up, instead ask topics that require a bit of thought. If you can make these questions different from other guys, you’ll set yourself up as being a unique personality Step 4- Discuss sex The one technique that separates the men from the boys is being able to bring up the topic of sex into a conversation. By doing this, you’re able to discuss sex in a non-threatening manner while introducing the concept in her mind. At the subconscious level you’re making her wonder what it will like to have sex with you. Step 5- Initiate physical contact One way to build attraction with a woman is to touch her throughout your conversation. If you can lightly touch her on the shoulder to emphasize a point or lightly swat her in a teasing way, you’ve broken through the barrier of touching. Once this is done, a woman will probably touch you back and the two of you will have established physical rapport. Step 6- Close the deal Know how to get that girl now means you have to establish your outcome before initiating contact. If you want to get her number and set up the date, then you build your conversation towards this goal. On the other hand, if you’re looking to get laid, then you should focus on increasing physical contact and the sexual innuendos. Then look for an opportunity to invite her back to your place. So in order to close the deal, you have to first establish a goal then work towards it. If you’re serious about learning how to get that girl now, you should pay close attention to these six proven techniques I talked about in this article. By memorizing these steps and then using them, you’ll definitely see positive results when you’re trying to impress that one special woman. Using The First Agreement to Attract Women Explained

Wednesday, September 19th, 2007

By Teddy Shabba When men first embark on a quest to attract women using “The Four Agreements” by don Miguel Ruiz the first agreement Be Impeccable With Your Word can be both the hardest to master and the one agreement that creates the most success with attracting women. To be impeccable with your word realize that it first starts with you and then others. With your word you have the power to create, and if you haven’t yet had success in attracting women that you want, it is because of the power of your words and the words of those you chose to believe. Every time you think to yourself that you are not attractive enough, or smart enough, or any other type of negative self talk, you are generating “negative energy” in yourself to make sure it happens. Impeccable means without sin or to not go against you. To be impeccable with your word means that you can no longer continue in negative self-talk. Now at first you may find yourself not wanting to believe all the good things that you will be telling yourself, however there will come a point in time when not only will you believe you also will see the results of being impeccable with your word. Writing down 10 affirmations and telling yourself them, out loud every morning upon waking is a great way to help break the spell that has been cast upon you and create a new reality for yourself in attracting women. Remember that it was the power of your words and those you chose to believe that has led to your beliefs about attracting women. Yet your words have more than enough power to change your beliefs once you change those negative thoughts into positive ones. Like Brushing Your Teeth

Tuesday, September 18th, 2007

By Kelly O’Brien What do the following things have in common: brushing your teeth, regular exercise, eating a balanced diet, paying your bills on time, cleaning your gutters, spending quality time with your spouse and kids? Theyre all forms of regular self-care that, if you neglect them for a period of time or take the wrong approach, there will be costly negative consequences. The same goes for marketing. Do any of these symptoms sound familiar? Your phone does not ring regularly with new prospects. You dont regularly hear, Hey, Ive heard of your company! Your sales pipeline is dry, so you go to some networking events, get some leads, then stop. People dont respond quickly to meet or talk with you after an initial introduction through networking. The leads you do get trickle in slowly. You spend a lot of time looking for opportunities, but arent getting the results you want. You cant safely project your firms income for the next 6 to 12 months. Youre finding it hard to attract and retain top talent, even in a recently tough economy. Relationships with clients tend to be short and one-off projects (i.e., no repeat business). You rely heavily on one or two income streams (i.e., consulting or coaching). Most of your eggs are in one basket (i.e., one or two major clients), and if they went away, youd be in trouble. Youre too busy to look for more clients. If any of these symptoms ring true for you, one of two things is probably happening. Either youre not marketing on a consistent enough basis to generate reliable results. Or youre not using the right approach to get the kind of results you want. Or both! Consistency is Key The American Dental Association recommends brushing your teeth at least twice a day. The USDAs food pyramid maps out a balanced approach to eating. Your mortgage company or landlord stay happy when you pay them monthly on time. Experts urge us to clean our gutters twice a year. You get the idea Do we really follow all of these guidelines to the letter? Probably not. But within reason, people who consistently follow healthy habits over time, get better results, live younger longer, and incur less cost (financial, physical, emotional) than those who do not. This is definitely the case with marketing for professional services. You simply cannot dabble in lousy messaging, offer an unwanted service, do occasional networking, or disappear from your target audiences radar, only to reappear when you need more work. Benign neglect and sporadic attention will get you predictable results. Heres why: clients come to you in a very vulnerable positionthey need something from you that they cant do for themselves or dont have the expertise to solve on their own. So they need to trust that 1) you wont lead them astray, wasting their time/money; and 2) you have their best interests in mind. How can they begin to trust you, then, if you disappear from sight, inconsistently communicate with them, or say things that they cant understand or relate to? Taking a proactive, consistent preventative maintenance approach to marketing is the key to building trust in the marketplace. Heres how to make marketing a healthy habit: STEP 1: Offer what the market wants. Sounds obvious, but youd be surprised how often I see firms selling what their clients really need, they just dont know it yet. Or, this is such a worthy cause (new approach, cutting edge strategy, etc.), I just know its needed. Unless you have the PR and marketing budget to fund a major, long-term educational campaign, you cant afford to take this approach. STEP 2: Say the right things to the right audience, at the right time, in the right way. What you say (messaging) is more important, and harder, than spreading the word. The biggest waste of time and money is to spin your wheels promoting your services when youre saying the wrong things. STEP 3: Do some form of marketing every week, if not every day. Even if youre swimming in more work than you can handle now, you cant afford to stop promoting your services. Ever. Pick a theme for the week and just do it: prepare a talk, draft an article, network, write your monthly keep-in-touch e-newsletter, ask for testimonials, add case studies to your website, send items of interest to clients and contacts, write thank you notes, do a postcard mailer about your next talk, call an old client, write and send out a press release, provide great client service, develop a valuable freebie to give away, and so on. Successfully marketing professional services is about establishing and sustaining trust through a consistent approach to meaningful visibility with your target audience. Ignore this advice, and in short order youll suffer the equivalent of cavities, leaky gutters, bad credit, and an expanding waistlineand end up paying the expense of emergency surgery, instead of the smaller investment of taking a preventative approach.
