Laughter: The Best Aphrodisiac

Wednesday, January 16th, 2008

By James Brito WARNING: True story ahead. This will help you attract women. Stop reading if you don’t want to learn how to get the woman of your dreams just by being funny. I’d like to tell you a story, the story of a guy who wasn’t that good-looking but was full of charisma, energy, and the ability to make fun of himself. He had no problem letting it all hang out, so karaoke was a regular event for him on weekend nights. One night this guy was having a great time, not even looking for girls, just singing (badly, I might add) at the karaoke bar on the East Side of Manhattan and entertaining his friends. A beautiful Latina girl, one he normally wouldn’t think of picking up, noticed him and displayed her interest with some serious flirting. She wasn’t blown away by his looks, but loved the fact that he enjoyed making fun of himself on stage. There was just something about the energy he brought with him. Soon they started talking, one thing led to another, and before he knew it he was in bed with this beautiful South American chick. Now they’re talking about getting married. And by the way, this story is entirely true. Guys, girls LOVE humor! No matter which survey, book, or magazine article you read, HUMOR is always rated as one of the top things girls look for in a guy. And think about it, if YOU were a girl, would you rather be with a guy who loves life and makes you laugh, or with a guy who may be better-looking but is really boring? No contest. Not only does having a good sense of humor brighten up your girl’s world, it also brightens up your own. I could talk all day about different ways of being funny (or “cocky funny”, as David DeAngelo recommends), but I’ll start with my favorite method: 1. Self-Deprecation You know how your parents told you to not care what people joked about you, to just joke about yourself? Well, it works, and not just as a way of deflecting mockery. You can get girls to like you, even love you, as well. I mean, hey, my last name is Brito. Sounds like Burritto, right? So growing up, I always got called Burritto. Bothered me at first, but once I started joking about it myself, even EMBRACING the moniker of Burritto, life got better. Schoolmates actually stopped calling me it Burritto in a mocking way, but in a fun, buddy kind of way. I realized that self-deprecation has even greater rewards: by doing silly things like the worst “worm” you’ll ever see on a dance floor, or karaoke on a stage, people would laugh, and enjoy my company. I’d be invited out a lot more. And I’d enjoy myself. THAT’S a winner’s game. Going along with the whole “Burritto” name, making fun of it, helped me make friends–and girlfriends. “What’s your name?” girls ask. “James, but you can call me Burritto,” I’d respond. “Burritto?” girls would say with a laugh. “That’s an interesting name.” And I guarantee you the conversation didn’t end there. So guys, learn to make fun of yourself. You’ll not only attract girls, but you’ll enjoy life more. Everything in life seems a little brighter, a little more “glass half full” when you learn to laugh–not just at other people, but also at yourself. 2. Observational Humor. Hey, strange and funny things always happen. You might see a guy whose face looks like his dog’s, or a ridiculous-looking cat staring at you. If you can point these things out, you’ll come off as sharp, witty, and full of fun. 3. Wit. Nothing looks stronger than a guy who can cut his opponent to pieces, especially using their own remarks against them. It conveys intelligence, humor, and power, all in one. 4. Exaggeration. Hey, just be ridiculous. I’ve gotten girls’ phone numbers just by walking around like a crab. Or sing a note REALLY off-key. It depends on what kind of girl you’re after–if she’s an ice queen, I wouldn’t recommend it–but for fun, easygoing girls, going over the top will make them laugh–and want to be with you in the process. 5. Cocky Funny. This is the trademark of relationship guru, David DeAngelo. The premise is that by doing cocky and funny acts like making fun of a girl, or slapping her hands, you show that you can live without her. Girls need you more than you need them, so to speak. Personally, I don’t recommend this method, because it will really just make you look like a jerk. If bumping into a girl on purpose or asking her friends how they can deal with someone so annoying like her fits your personality, go for it. Maybe you are a cocky jerk after all. But if it’s NOT you, don’t bother. Dating should be about who you are, NOT who you aren’t. There you go. Just like laughter is the best medicine, it’s also one of the best aphrodisiacs. So use it, and have fun! James Brito, bestselling author of “How to Be Irresistible to Women” and “The Art of Impressing Women,” regularly explores topics of female attraction. Colloidal Silver Water For Your Health

Tuesday, January 15th, 2008

By Chester Ku-Lea Colloidal Silver is a solution containing microscopic particles of pure silver permanently suspended in de-ionized water. The solution inhibits the ability of disease-causing organisms such as bacteria, virus, fungus and parasites from assimilating oxygen. As a consequence, the disease-causing organisms literally suffocate and die. Pure silver has been used for hundreds of years in the prevention and treatment of illness from injury or toxic substance. During the Middle Ages silver goblets were used as drinking vessels in the belief that they prevented poisoning from bad wine or contaminated water or other liquid. Pure Silver has been used as a liner in water canteens since the 100’s. The water held in these canteens stays sweet and clean until consumed. No research has shown that any known disease-causing organism can live in the presence of even minute traces of the chemical element of metallic silver. Seven Easy Ways to Ignite the Spark in Your Relationship!

Monday, January 14th, 2008

By M Brooke It doesnt matter how excited you are about your partner if you cant stay on the same wavelength and keep a connection over time. Finding the right person is really less than half of what it takes to stay connected with someone. In working with couples and families over the past 18 years it has become clear to me that being in love, or even just loving someone, isnt enough to keep the relationship going. To maintain that magical feeling of love and special-ness in a relationship we have to be willing to take 150% ownership of the quality of the connection in our relationships. There are certain things we have to be willing to do and to continue doing if it is our intention to stay in love and in connection with our chosen partner. The exciting thing is that it doesnt matter if your relationship is only 6 months old or if its 20 years old, these things will work to deepen your connection. And, you dont have to wait for the other person to do them, its not about what the other person does or doesnt do. Its about you deciding that you want to maintain that connection, and being willing to take that 150% ownership. So here we go: 1) Love is an action: Show your partner how you feel about them every day, at least once a day. Do this even if you are in different states or countries. Show your care dont just speak it. Saying I love you doesnt deepen a connection unless its accompanied by actions. Leave love notes under your partners pillow when you are going to be out of town. Make sure the tires in his car have enough air in them before he leaves town. Hug her every time she walks in the door. Think to get her favorite flower once in a while, for no reason. Fix the leak in the bathroom hes been complaining about. Wipe up the counter and pick up after yourself like she has been asking. 2) We are all kids at heart: Recognize that no matter how grown up your partner seems, they are really a little kid inside. (Oh yes, and so are you) We are all really just kids that have bodies that have aged. Inside all of us are the unmet needs of our childhood as well as the playful spontaneous joyful child that we once were. Throughout the time you spend with your partner, see if you can notice the kid inside them. Respond to that kid just as you would to a kid who has not yet grown older. 3) Bedtime sharing: If you live together, go to bed at the same time, together, every night. This is huge. That means turning off the TV, the night-light and the phone. This is your time together. Cuddle and talk, make love if the urge strikes but that is not the point. The point is to talk about your day, your worries, and your hopes. Discover that in spite of all the time you have spent together, you still dont know each other. If you dont live together, or are not together for whatever reason, talk on the phone after you climb into bed. 4) Dont let things slide: When your partner says or does something you dont agree with or that upsets you, tell them. Dont just let it slide. This doesnt mean making a mountain out of molehill, but be sure to give things that upset you the energy that they deserve. Pretending that something doesnt matter doesnt make it not matter. You may think its not important but over time these things add up and cause resentments and distance. You may not always have time to process the conflict at that moment, but at least let your partner know that you are having a problem and that you will need to discuss it later. When you go to bed together that night, discuss it, if you havent already. 5) You are not enemies: When you are in a conflict with your partner stop your arguing for a moment. Breathe deeply. Start thinking about what you love about this person, and what you are grateful for about them. Then remember that they are not your enemy. In the middle of a conflict it sure can feel that way. It can seem that they are attacking you and you are the victim. Instead of arguing your case back to them, listen to what they are saying and, more importantly, what they are feeling. Respond to what they are feeling. Own what you can about your part in whatever has upset them, this doesnt mean agreeing with them, only that you can see that you have done something that upset them. 6) Touch well, tough often: Touch your partner as often as possible, and get them to touch you as often as possible. Skin to skin contact increases a hormone called oxytocin, the hormone of love. Oxytocin increases trust and a sense of safety; it reduces stress and increases sexual arousal. Most men and many women are touch deprived. In many cultures parents are taught not to baby their children and they interpret this as not cuddling them. Touch increases our overall sense of well being. 7) Play together. Be playful in your interactions. Have a sense of humor in times of stress. Find something playful to do that you both enjoy and make it a priority to keep it in your schedule. Play is critical to our sense of connection to others, and to our joy in life. In our culture we tend to get so serious and think that if an activity is not goal directed it has no purpose or meaning. Yet play expands our ability to think, develops creativity and gives us a sense of joy. Playing together in both structured and unstructured ways develops trust and engenders caring. Staying connected requires time a commitment to the relationship. If you are willing to do all seven of these things, your relationship will flourish Even if you just do a few of them your relationship will fare better than many, certainly than those who first walk through the door of my counseling office. Simple Ways to Organize Your Scrapbook Paper

Thursday, January 10th, 2008

By Jennifer Celeste There is no time like the present to get your scrapbooking paper organized. There are several ways to accomplish this feat ranging from simple organization to specialty products. This article will give you some options to straighten out that mess of colors, patterns and sizesoh my! The first step to organizing your scrapbook paper is to determine how you want to separate it out, by color, by theme, by designer; there are several options. If you tend to have a lot of solid cardstock, you may want to segregate by color but if you have a ton of cardstock for several themes say baby girl, baby boy, wedding and holiday then you may want to organize by theme. Do what works for you. Take out all your paper and start putting it into the groups that you have selected. Now you are ready for step two. Now that all your paper is organized into your selected groups you need to figure out how to store it. There are several ways to store scrapbook paper ranging from simple to complex. Poly Paper Envelopes These come in a variety of sizes and are less than $2 each. This is a great option if you dont have a lot of different groups and you dont have a ton of paper in each group. Typically each paper envelope will expand to one inch. Vertical Poly Paper Holder with Dividers These run about $25 each; they have dividers and pouches that fit into an upright poly holder. You can fit about 100 sheets in each one. Hanging File Folders Depending on your paper size you can get the regular 8.5 inches by 11 inches folders available at any office supply store or the specialty scrapbooking folders that hold 12 x12 paper. The prices can range anywhere from $30 to $100. Most of them are portable, so you could take them with you to a scrapbook crop or retreat. Design A Business Card That Will Generate Business And Have Customers Beating Down Your Door

Tuesday, January 8th, 2008

By Mark Hannah Here are a few tips on creating a business card that will generate business for you A picture is worth a thousand words. Who would you hire to landscape your beautiful new home? Bobs Landscaping Company that has a black & white card or Bills Landscaping Company that has the picture of a nice landscaped garden that he created? A custom designed full color business card can help you beat the competition. There is a lot to the psychology of color, color affects shopping habits. Impulse-shoppers respond to red-orange, black, and royal blue. Shoppers who plan to stick to budgets respond to pink, teal, light blue and navy. Traditionalists respond to pastels. Bolder brighter colors appeal to those with lower incomes. Higher incomes ore attracted by more subtle colors. These tips must be used when designing your full color business card. Your business card must have a Unique Selling Proposition. Simply stated a Unique Selling Proposition differentiates you from your competition. If you dont have something different to offer, you better find something or save yourself a lot of aggravation and go work for your competition. It tells your prospects why they should do business with you versus the other guys. No, scratch that; it SCREAMS at your prospects why they MUST do business with you. Dont make it hard for someone to conduct business with you. Use the back of your business card. If your paying a penny a square inch for the front and the back is only going to cost you 2/10 of a cent per square inch, isnt that a good investment? The back of your business card can be used in several ways. Entice your prospects to visit your business by placing an offer on the back. For example if you own a restaurant offer a free desert or appetizer. If you own an auto repair shop offer a free oil change. Be creative and stick out from your competition. Print a memory hook on the back of your card. I know a distributor of air purification systems that prints We Have A Solution To Your Pollution on the back of his card. The phrase just begs you to ask him to explain it. A memory hook is a catchy phrase that will create enough interest that a person will ask questions. A memory hook also helps your prospect remember you. Always hand your card to someone upside down. This will cause the person to turn the card over and read it, especially if you give them a reason such as a memory hook. How many times have you handed someone your business card and it barely gets a glance? Your business card can double as a punch card. The restaurant can offer a free meal after purchasing ten meals or maybe movie tickets. Ask your local theater manager about some joint marketing efforts. The auto repair shop can offer a free oil change after purchasing ten or a free car wash. Again, a joint marketing possibility. You are already paying for business cards, dont waste them and get the most bang for your marketing buck. Not generic looking cards designed from a template that are a waste of money, a custom designed card that WILL generate business. Relationship Advice: What Not To Do

Tuesday, January 8th, 2008

By Elaine Olden Who would have ever assumed that entering into a relationship could be as complicated as driving the India 500. There is a great amount of effort that is needed in order to have a successful relationship. While there are a number of relationship advice articles for what to do there are few on what not to do. It is our feeling that what not to do is as important as what you do if not more so. So pull up a chair and soak in the relationship advice that is in this article. Everyone gets mad and it is human nature to call names. Calling names is our first big no-no in our relationship advice guide. Calling names and saying ugly things to your partner tears away their self-esteem. Even though they may understand that you were angry it still hurts deeply. Research has shown that calling names and making derogatory comments actually is more destructive than physical abuse. Remember this relationship advice tip the next time you are angry. Remove yourself from the situation when you feel the need to call a name or make a comment that you will later regret. If your relationship is new, pay particular attention to this relationship tip and make it a conscious effort too never call a name. Once this cycle of bad mouthing has started it is more difficult to control and stop the behavior. A good alternative and way in which to break this habit it every time you break the rule and call a name or make a negative comment to your partner put $5.00 in a jar. The money adds up quick and your partner gets to spend the money any way they want. It works give it a try! Another issue that many other relationship advice guides overlook is remembering important dates in a relationship. It is understandable that your memory may not be as good as you would like, but that is what calendars are for. Mark these dates on the calendar and take action when they come around. Good dates to remember are your partners birthday, the month that you met, youre wedding anniversary and so on. This relationship advice tip will save you a lot of heartache and grief! So you claim that you do not keep a calendar, well start. Most everyone carries a cell phone and most all of them have a date scheduler, use it! When your partner is having a bad day do not discount the facts and shrug your shoulders. Listen and sympathize with his or her pain. This is a real problem for them and they need someone to listen. This relationship advice tip is probably one of the most important that many couples dont do. Many couples forget that they are supposed to have a soft shoulder for their partner. This is one of the leading causes of fights and break ups. If your partner feels that they do not have a friend that is willing to listen they will find someone that does. This is so important in a relationship that you simply must not forget to listen and have empathy for your lover. This brings us to our final relationship advice tip. Many couples make the mistake of airing their dirty laundry at work or with family and friends. This breaks down the communication and bond within the relationship. It is important that you speak with each other and confide inside the relationship. We are not suggesting that you not have any friends and never indulge anything in them, but keep it to a minimum. The less you involve others in your relationship the better you will feel and the more you will discuss with your partner. Many individuals have found that when sharing their problems or fights outside the relationship they become the target of well meaning friends relationship advice. Often times the advice of a co-workers or friends may not be the best advice. Sometimes they have ulterior motives and many have larger problems than you do. So in closing the best relationship advice that you can possibly have is to not only get the basics, but also learn what not to do! Want to read more free information about dating? Unsecured Loan: A Popular Option to Meet Your Desires

Sunday, January 6th, 2008

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=John_Carry]John Carry Unsecured loans are great medium to meet your needs when your financial status is not supporting you. They are widely popular among the masses as they are offered without any collateral to the lender and anyone can opt for it. However, absence of security asset is very risky for the lender if you fail to repay the amount. Unsecured loan is a great prospect for tenants because they do not have any valuable asset to offer but at the same time, homeowners can also seek for it, if they do not want to risk their home. You can use this loan for your multiple requirements for example you can renovate your home, buy a car, go out for a vacation, and spend it for wedding expenditure etc. However, it is not so easy to obtain an [http://www.online-unsecured-loans.co.uk/unsecured-loan.html ]unsecured loan. Your credit record and current financial status play a crucial loan to help you to get the loan. Lender may create tantrums to offer you the loan if your credit past does not impress him. Besides this, in order to safeguard his money he charges high interest rate and heavy monthly instalments. He restricts your borrowing and you are liable to repay the entire amount in a short repayment time. The approval of the unsecured loan is fast and speedy due to less paper work. An intense competition in the market among lenders makes it confusing to take a decision about the right lender but at the same time, it is advantageous. You will have plenty of choice that can help you to negotiate about the rate of interest. Woodturning Tips - Finding Inspiration For Artistic Woodturnings

Friday, January 4th, 2008

By Steven Russell Overview Woodturners often ask me how I can continually find inspiration for my artistic woodturning projects. Sooner or later, you may need a little inspiration to move in a different direction with your work, or perhaps just revitalize your current focus. As artists, we all need to be inspired from time to time — this is normal. No one is an unlimited vessel of creativity. Finding the right kind of inspiration is the key to overcoming a creative wall and keeping your work fresh. Finding Inspiration There are many techniques that I use to find inspiration. One of the best ways that I have found is to visit art museums. Somehow, just being in the presence of great artwork has a beneficial effect. I am sure all of the artists represented in the museums collection at one time or another, faced a creative wall. They all overcame the wall and you can too. Not long ago I was struggling with finding a new direction for my artistic work. Trying to clearly define a new creative focus for your artistic work can be a daunting task. It can make or break you as an artist, so it’s something that requires a significant amount of thought to get it right. There are so many art forms that have excited me through the years. I’ve always enjoyed the fifth century Grecian water and wine vessels, as well as the early Chinese, Japanese and Egyptian vessels. In the Houston, Texas area, we have some nice museums and I visited several in order to zero in on the exact time frame I wanted to concentrate on. While visiting the museums, I looked at every exhibit — paintings, sculpture, wood, clay vessels, pottery, baskets and everything else I could possibly see. When I left, my head was filled with possibilities, but no clear direction was apparent. As luck would have it, my wife and I had the opportunity to visit one of her sisters, who lived just outside Philadelphia. We took a day out of our trip to go into New York and sightsee. High on our list of places to visit, was the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Although I had been to New York before, I never had the time to spend much time sightseeing, so I was thrilled to finally be able to visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art. As it happened, the museum had a huge exhibit of fifth century Grecian art, including several amphora jars. There were numerous examples of water and wine vessels made from Terracotta and painted with exquisite scenes on the outside. There were also exhibits of early Chinese and Japanese carved stone pieces and china. Everywhere I looked, I was enjoying the visual feast and trying to figure out how I could adapt wood and my lathe to execute a similar piece. I did not want to copy any of the work, but merely use it as a basis for a direction to explore. It’s comforting to know that the shapes we find pleasing today, were also pleasing more than 1,500 years ago. My mind was going a thousand miles an hour and we both lost all track of time. We stayed until they began to close the museum and I left filled with inspiration and a clearly focused path for my artistic work. I settled upon the Grecian water and wine vessels of the fifth century. My goal was to find a way to execute my interpretation of these beautiful vessels in wood, with authentic scenes on the exteriors. Without my visit to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, I’m not sure I would have been able to focus so clearly on my new artistic direction. Additional Ways To Find Inspiration Another favorite technique of mine is to look to nature for natural inspiration. Take a walk in the woods near your home, or spend a day visiting the seashore, or a local park. Observe the textures and colors of the rocks, the earth, the animals and the surroundings. Take lots of pictures for later reference. Some of my best surface textures have come from my attempts to duplicate natural rock formations, clouds, seashells and tree bark. You can even find artistic inspiration in your own backyard. Early one morning I found a mushroom fungus formation growing on a rotten tree stump in my backyard. I knew that as soon as the sun came up it would ruin the beautiful multi-headed growth. I quickly grabbed my digital camera and took several photos from different angles. Later that day when the sunlight hit the formation, it was totally ruined. The beauty may have only lasted for a few hours, but it was incredible. This inspired me to use the pictures as inspiration for a hollow form that I want to turn which will replicate the look, texture and color of the fungus. Closing Thoughts Inspiration can be all around you, but you have to pay close attention and look beyond a casual glance to find the beauty that awaits you. Don’t be afraid to try new techniques and to work with new materials in your studio. Stretching your creative limits redefines your inner muse and allows you to grow in new and exciting ways. Remember, there is an artist in every one of us and inspiration is around every corner. About The Author Steven Russell is a professional artist, demonstrator and writer. Catching Bass In Cold Water

Thursday, January 3rd, 2008

By Charles White When I talk cold water, I am talking about water 50 degress or less. The bass don’t quit eating at this temperature but one thing is for sure, they slow down. As the water temps fall so is the chance that a bass will chase a bait for a meal. When the water temperature gets in the 40’s, your bait has to be right in front of the bass and they have to almost be forced fed just to get them to take the bait. This is when you might want to put those big lures away and offer them something small. So, what kind of lure are you going to use? How about small hair jigs and soft plastic grubs? These imitate cold water pray in cold water. Deer hair is hollow and allows the jig to fall slower. These do good in the rocks and bluffs where water is at least 10 feet deep. If the water is less than 50 degrees try these jigs with a little piece of pork. Here’s the deal, when fishing these lures in cold water, the bass aren’t going to chase it. So cast, let it drop and bring it along the bottom very slowly for 10-12 feet then reel it in for another cast. The pick-up of the little lure will probably be subtle. Everyone seems to like dark colored jigs but if the water is clear or the bass’ main food is shad then try a white hair jig. If the bass are feeding on crayfish mainly in the summer then try a brown or drab green color in cold water. Also, remember this, rocks radiate the sun warmth. Fishing rocks with these jigs can be deadly. Some other good material to use for jigs is badger, rabbit, coyote and squirrel hair. Light to medium light rods are good for fishing jigs and grubs. Line 4-6 pounds seem to be the thing but if fishing a lock of rocks then you can go to 10 pound test line. Just remember to fish slow, don’t think the bass are going to chase your bait very far, if at all and leave the bait in front of them longer than you normally would. Try fishing with hair jigs and small grubs, it may just surprise you. Good Fishing To You. Charles E. White has fished 50 years for bass from California to Florida. Think You’re Dating A Lying Liar? Here Are 5 Terrific Tips To Help You Discover The Truth

Wednesday, January 2nd, 2008

By Conner O’Seanery You’ve met a guy with the eyes of an angel, a smile that makes Ryan Seacrest’s grill look like a barbecue pit, a tongue of sweet silver, and a set of abs that could grate — and melt — a slab of Gouda. He’s outgoing, and going places. Best of all, he says he wants you to come along for the ride. He can talk the talk, and you love what you’re hearing. You feel his irresistible tug pulling you off your feet … Whoa, honey, put on the brakes! Not to throw a bucket of cold water on your hottie, but how do you know your guy is dishing the truth? After all, the most attractive and outgoing people tend to be the most effective liars — especially when the pressure’s on. Is your man displaying the tell-tale signs of deception in the way he talks? Not sure? Then read on to discover whether you should leap head-over-heels into his arms … or keep your feet planted firmly on the ground. 5 Tips for Spotting the Verbal Slips of a Liar 1. Expansion & Contraction: A liar tends to expand contractions. “I wasn’t up all night surfing those triple-X websites” becomes “I was not up all night surfing those triple-X websites,” with an indignant look thrown in for good measure. Or “I didn’t call you because I was busy reading The Bible” becomes “I did not call you because I was busy reading The Bible.” This liar thinks his high-falutin’ King’s English will convince you he’s telling the truth. But if that ain’t the way he usually talks, somethin’ ain’t right. He could be hiding some dirty laundry — or dirty Internet habits. 2. Pause and Insert Here: A liar may pause and insert lots of odd, non-word sounds into his speech to fill the uncomfortable silence: “Ah, I know I should have called, but, er, I couldn’t tear myself from my, um, mother’s side. Oh, she’s been really sick lately and, um, and I … duh.” Ah, er, um, oh and sometimes duh are this liar’s vowels. 3. Clumsy Is as Clumsy Does: A liar can be as clumsy with his words as former president Gerald Ford was with his footwork. Mistakes in grammar, verb tenses and other train-of-thought derailments might indicate deception. Or they might indicate he holds the current Office of President. Its just so hard to tell nowadays. 4. Listen Carefully: A liar tends to use fewer first-person words such as “I” or “my” in his speech and writing. Using a text analysis program, Dr. James Pennebaker of the University of Texas and Dr. Dianne Berry of SMU discovered certain language patterns can predict when someone’s hiding the truth. Emotional words like “hurt” and “angry” are used less frequently when a person’s shoveling manure from a sitting position, as are cognitive words such as “understand” or “realize.” So, grab your tape recorder and start the interrogation! 5. What’s in a Name?: A liar might use pronouns instead of actual names, hoping to add a bit of emotional distance to his lie. Of course, if your guy always dwells in a vapor of distraction, the lack of names might be par for the course.
